Ten industries, the same standards.

Every sector has its own systems, rules, and vocabulary. The engineering underneath is the same: correct data, enforced access, integrations that do not break silently, and code you own. These are the industries we build for most, with what slows each one down and what we build for it.

Where we have built before

Each page lists the problems we see in nearly every engagement in that sector, how we approach them, and the services and workflows they draw on.

Healthcare

Patient portals, clinical tools, and integrations with the systems hospitals already run, built with access control and audit trails from the first commit.

Typical clientsClinics, digital health products, medical device companies, and health-tech startups selling into providers.

  • Patient portals and telehealth
  • AI-assisted clinical documentation
  • FHIR and HL7 integrations

Payments, lending, and banking products where every transaction reconciles, onboarding meets KYC rules, and the audit trail is built in rather than bolted on.

Typical clientsPayment companies, lenders, neobanks, wealth platforms, and finance teams building internal tooling.

  • Double-entry ledgers and payment APIs
  • KYC and AML onboarding flows
  • Mobile banking and customer dashboards

E-commerce & Retail

Storefronts that convert, inventory and orders that stay in sync across channels, and AI that answers customers and merchandises products without adding headcount.

Typical clientsDTC brands, multi-channel retailers, marketplaces, and Shopify merchants outgrowing their theme.

  • Shopify and headless storefronts
  • Inventory and order sync across channels
  • AI support and product recommendations

Products built to be sold: a scoped MVP first, then multi-tenancy, billing, permissions, and the AI features customers now expect, on infrastructure that scales.

Typical clientsFounders with a validated idea, seed to Series B startups, and product teams adding a new line of business.

  • Scoped MVPs in six to ten weeks
  • Multi-tenant platforms with billing and SSO

How an industry engagement starts

We are engineers, not consultants. Here is how we learn enough about your sector to scope properly.

  1. Name the sector and the system

The scope call starts with what you run today: the EHR, the ledger, the storefront, the TMS. We ask about the systems before the features.

  2. Map the problem to a pattern

Most industry problems are one of a handful of patterns: integration, access control, document handling, an app for the field, a model over your data. We say which, and show where we have built it.

  3. Write the scope in your vocabulary

The written scope uses your terms, names your systems, and lists the artefacts you will have at the end. Compliance and integration requirements are in it, not discovered later.

  4. Build with domain review

Weekly demos on staging with the people who do the work, not only the people who bought the software. The clinician, the planner, the editor tells us what is wrong while it is cheap to fix.

Three ways to work with us

Industry work is bought the same three ways as everything else. The scope call ends with a recommendation and the reason for it.

Fixed scope

Defined deliverables, a fixed price, and a fixed timeline. If we estimated wrong, that is our problem.

Choose this when the requirements are clear.

Dedicated team

Engineers assigned to you full-time on a monthly basis, with a milestone plan that changes in writing.

Choose this when the work is ongoing or the scope will evolve.

Staff augmentation

Individual senior engineers joining your team and your process, in your tools and your standups.

Choose this when you have a team and need a specific capability.

Tell us what you are building.

We reply within one business day with how we would build it, what it would cost, and which engagement model fits.

  1. 01
Tell us what you are building

A short form or an email. No deck required, and "not sure yet" is a fine answer.

  2. 02
    A call with an engineer

Within one business day. Technical questions get technical answers, from the person who would build it.

  3. 03
    A written scope and quote

Fixed price where the scope is defined. The document is yours whether or not you go ahead.
